3rd June 2009 - Sony are showing a tech demo of their new motion sensor control device. The controller utilizes the PS3 camera and the tech is based on the PS2's Eye Toy, but obviously in a much more advanced state. Sony say that it is not only for the casual market as they will aim to implement it for more in-depth games that will appeal to the hardcore gamers. In the demo they are showing, the sensitivity of the controller and how it can be implemented into various game types and the control you can have over a character is quite amazing. It will be interesting to see how it will turn out when it is fully integrated into a full game and how well third party developers will make use of it. This may rival the Wii in a big way if done well. The controller will launch in Spring 2010.
